Do I think Jimmy Carter was a nice guy? Absolutely! That’s the problem. We don’t need nice guys as president. We don’t need a president that’s going to give a terrorist a big hug. Jimmy Carter was not made to be president!

I was a young man in my 20’s and I actually voted for such a “good man”. I would come to realize America, in a world of tyrants, doesn’t need a “good man” as president. I watched the president I voted for mismanage America.
Reagan didn’t have to secretly negotiate anything. Anyone replacing asshole Jimmy Carter would have made Iran happy and quite willing to negotiate and respond favorably.
Jimmy Carters actions before and after showed me and America what an incompetent nincompoop he was. On November 9, four days after the Embassy takeover, Carter declared the U.S. would cease all shipments of spare parts for military equipment to Iran until the safe release of all hostages. He also cut off all oil imports from Iran. This not only further strained the U.S.’s relations with Iran, but it also damaged the American economy. Gas prices quickly spiked. In addition, he froze approximately ten billion dollars of Iranian money being held in American banks. Although there were negative effects on the U.S. economy from the oil embargo, Iran suffered much worse economic hardship from the combination of the embargo, economic sanctions, and frozen assets.
Lefty loons will swallow and believe anything! President Reagan didn’t have to negotiate anything with Iran. He just watched Jimmy Carter hang himself!
